Directions to Kangaroo Conservation Center from:

Atlanta Airport: Take 1-85 North to GA 400 North (Toll road $.50) and follow direction from Atlanta

Atlanta: (1.5 hour) Take GA 400 North to HWY 136 (4 miles north of the North Georgia Premium Outlet Mall), Turn Left on 136. Go west on 136 for 12 miles to Bailey-Waters Rd, and turn right. We are the first address on the right #222.

Chattanooga: (2 hours) Take I- 75 to Dalton then 76 East towards Ellijay. Take Hwy 52 East to Amicalola Falls State Park. (Note: Do not take 52 from Dalton, unless you prefer the scenic route, which takes an extra ½ hour driving time) Proceed about 4 miles past the State Park to the first paved crossroad. Turn right onto Bailey-Waters Road, and go 3.5 miles to #222 on the left.

Helen: (1.25 hour) Go south from Helen on State rd 75 to Cleveland, then west on 115 to Long Branch Rd. near Dahlonega. Turn left on Long Branch and go south to the 4 lane Hwy 400. Continue South to Hwy 136. Turn right on 136 and go west for 12 miles to Bailey-Waters Rd. Turn right onto Bailey-Waters Road, we are the first address on the right #222.

Rome: (2 hours) Take Ga hwy 20 east to Canton. Continue east on hwy 20 to hwy 369. Turn left on 369 and continue east to hwy 400, then north on hwy 400. When you get to the North Georgia Outlet Mall, continue on 400 for 4 more miles. Turn left (west) on hwy 136 and go 12 miles to Bailey-Waters Rd, and turn right. We are the first address on the right #222.

Jasper: Take Hwy 53 east from Jasper towards Dawsonville. Once you are in Dawson County, turn left on Hwy 183. Take Hwy 183 to Keith Evans Road (right-hand turn, just pass McKee Church). Take Keith Evans to the stop sign at Hwy 136. Cross Hwy 136 and you are now on Bailey-Waters Rd. We are the first property on the right #222.

Dahlonega: Take Hwy 9 South/52 West. The highways will split approximately 5 miles from
Dahlonega. Take Hwy 52 to the right. Continue for another 8 miles. Turn left onto Bailey-Waters
Road, and go 3.5 miles to #222 on the left. (Approximately 20 minutes from Dahlonega).

Gainesville: (45 minutes) Via Hwy 53 to 400.  Go north on 400 approx. 3 miles until you reach the intersection with hwy 136.  Go west on hwy 136 for 12 miles to Bailey Waters rd, and turn right. We are the first address on the right #222.
                    Or from 60 (Thompson Bridge Road) to 400.  Go south on 400 approx. 7 miles until you reach the intersection with hwy 136.  Go west on hwy 136 for 12 miles to Bailey Waters rd, and turn right. We are the first address on the right #222.

Greenville or Athens: Take I-85 to Hwy 129 North (Jefferson Exit) Travel Hwy 129 to the town of Gainesville. In Gainesville, 129 will combine with Hwy 60 North. Take Hwy 60 North to Hwy 400. Go south on Hwy. 400 to hwy 136. Go right, (west) on hwy 136 for 12 miles to Bailey-Waters Rd., and turn right. We are the first address on the right #222.

Birmingham: Take I-20 East to Atlanta: Then 1-85 North to GA 400 North. Follow the directions
