New Animals- |
Frilled Dragon - an arboreal lizard from northern Australia and New Guinea. Known for the large hood that it displays when it is needs to defend itself. Ridge-Tailed Monitors - Monitors, also called 'goannas,' are found throughout Australasia. 27 species live in Australia itself, the ridge-tailed being one of those species. "Pach" - an albino Bennett's Wallaby. Pach has solid white fur, pink eyes and nose, and he joined our mob from a zoological park in Holland! Albino animals are uncommon in the wild; we are excited to have Pach at our Center! Pach is on exhibit in the "Aussie Walkabout," where he lives with Sophie, a normal-colored Bennett's Wallaby. Crested Wood Partridges - small partridges found in the Indonesian rainforest. You can see our pair in the "Billabong Encounter" exhibit.
